On Monday June 20th, members from KIVFD attended a Heavy Extrication Course put on by the OC Fools in Berlin, MD. This class was focused on vehicle stabilization and extrication of commercial vehicles, as well as advanced extrication of passenger vehicles.

While members were attending training on Monday, several of our others members were keeping busy cleaning up Rescue 1 in preparation for the 130th MSFA Parade on Wednesday June 22nd. Rescue 1 placed 3rd Best Appearing Rescue Squad. Special thanks to our members for putting in the time to further their knowledge and to keep our apparatus looking sharp!
