This evening crews from Kent Island, Grasonville, and United Communites, stood by on the Route 8/Route 50 overpass to pay their respects to A1C Dewayne Austin Stevens. A1C Stevens passed away on March 24, 2022 at his duty station at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. A1C Stevens was also local to the Chester area, as well as a Kent Island High School Graduate, Class of 2019. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stevens family. Rest Easy, Sir.
