On 1/5/2024, KIVFD visited the Girl Scouts troop at the Christ episcopal church in Stevensville. The evening consisted of a tour of the ambulance and the engine for their first aid class. EMT Kristina Severa and EMR Larry Hern gave a tour of the ambulance and explained the equipment on that unit and how it is used. After that the girls got to learn about the engine and all of its equipment including airpacks and turnout gear.
We would like to thank them for inviting us and giving us time to show them what we do and hopefully when they get older they will want to join the department and serve the community as well!
