Tanners Lane Vacant Dwelling Fire
View this post on Instagram Shortly after 1 o’clock this afternoon Company 1 was alerted for a house fire on Tanner’s Lane in Chester. This brought a response from Engine’s 12 & 14, Engine-Tanker 1 and Tower 1. Engine-Tanker 1 was first to arrive to find a 3-Story vacant farm house with fire showing from the roof. After further investigation it was determined the fire was contained to the third floor. Crews from Company 1 along with Truck 2 (GVFD) put a quick knock on the fire and opened up the walls to check for extension. Crews operated for two hours before returning to service.
