Shortly after 7pm yesterday evening KIVFD was alerted for a dwelling fire in the 100blk of Maryland Road in Stevensville. The first arriving engine arrived to find smoke showing from a single story rancher. Engine 14 arrived shortly after and assisted with locating the fire and extinguishment while Tower 1 assisted with ventilation and opening up to check for extension. Engine-Tanker 1 supplied the first arriving engine. Crews operated on scene for approximately 1.5 hours before returning to service. No injuries were reported from this incident and the homeowner made it out of the residence safely.
