Started my fire service career in 1973 as a member of Barton Hose Company, Allegany County, where I served in various line officer positions up to Deputy Fire Chief.

Also a charter and life member of Tri-Towns Ambulance and Rescue Service since 1974 where I served as EMS Chief (6yrs).

Member of Luke VFC (approx. 20 yrs), and Westvaco EMS where we served Westvaco Corporation where I worked. I served in various line officer positions up to Deputy Fire Chief with Luke Fire Company and served 6 years as Team Captain of the Westvaco EMS.

Served for Westvaco HazMat/Rescue Team Coordinator for 9 yrs.

Served as an Allegany County HazMat Team Coordinator for 10 yrs.

Member of Savage VFC, Howard County, from 2001 where I served as Fire Chief for 4 yrs.
